ABSTRACT NOVEL POLYPEPTIDES AND DNAs ENCODING THEM Novel polypeptide, in both mature form and including a signal peptide, synthesized by a human glioblastoma cell line, and DNA encoding the said polypeptide. The polypeptide may be useful for the prevention of or in the treatment of aplasia or abnormal proliferation of glial cells or neurons, for the depression or enhancement of immunological activity, or the treatment of tumors.
