An oligo double-stranded RNA for the knockdown of the expression of Bcl-2 protein that is known as an apoptosis inhibitory factor and a medicinal composition containing the same. It is known that Bcl-2 protein is overexpressed in diseases such as cancer. Owing to this overexpression, cancer cells continuously grow and there arises drug tolerance against, for example, an anticancer agent. It is intended to provide an oligo double-stranded RNA having a high activity of inducing the decomposition of bcl-2 mRNA and a medicinal composition for inhibiting the overexpression of Bcl-2 protein that comprises a complex of the oligo double-stranded RNA with an appropriate carrier.
L'invention concerne un ARN oligobicaténaire destiné à inactiver l'expression d'une protéine Bcl-2 connue en tant que facteur inhibiteur d'apoptose, et une composition médicinale contenant cet ARN. On sait que la protéine Bcl-2 est surexprimée dans les maladies telles que le cancer. Du fait de cette surexpression, les cellules cancéreuses prolifèrent en continu et de là émane la tolérance aux médicaments contre, par exemple, un agent anticancéreux. Cette invention a pour but de fournir un ARN oligobicaténaire possédant une forte activité d'induction de la décomposition d'ARNm Bcl-2 et une composition médicinale destinée à inhiber la surexpression de la protéine Bcl-2 contenant un complexe d'ARN oligobicaténaire au moyen d'un excipient approprié.
