A process for the manufacture of a torsion vibration damper is disclosed wherein a fly ring and a hub ring (1, 2) are produced and relatively rotatably connected by subsequent insertion of a rubber ring (3). The fly and hub rings (1, 2) are manufactured as a single part with a nominal fracture line (4) at the region of transition between the rings. The single part is separated into the individual rings along the nominal fracture line (4) before of after the insertion of the rubber ring (3) and without removal of material. This process is more cost efficient and the single part can be easier handled and shipped at lower costs than individual rings.

La présente invention a pour objet une méthode pour la fabrication d'un amortisseur de vibrations de torsion dans lequel une bague folle et un anneau de renfort (1 et 2) sont assemblés dans un montage rotatif par insertion d'un anneau en caoutchouc (3). L'ensemble bague folle et anneau de renfort (1 et 2) est fabriqué d'une seule venue, une ligne de fracture nominale (4) traversant la région réunissant les deux composants individuels. Les deux composants de l'ensemble sont séparés l'un de l'autre le long de la ligne de fracture nominale (4) avant ou après l'insertion de l'anneau de caoutchouc (3) et sans enlèvement de matière. La méthode visée par les présentes augmente le rapport coût-efficacité, facilite le transport et la manutention, et entraîne une réduction des frais d'expédition par rapport aux éléments fabriqués individuellement.
