The invention relates to the use of 2,2,3,3 tetramethylcyclopropane carboxylic acid derivative compounds for the preparation of a medicament for treating a psychiatric disorder preferably a bipolar disorder. The invention additionally relates to the use of the compounds for the preparation of an inhibitor of MIP synthase and to a pharmaceutical composition comprising the compounds for treating a psychiatric disorder. A method for treating a psychiatric disorder preferably a bipolar disorder and a method for inhibiting an enzyme having MIP synthase activity is provided.
L'invention concerne l'utilisation de composés dérivés d'acide carboxylique 2,2,3,3 tétraméthylcyclopropane pour la préparation d'un médicament destiné au traitement d'un trouble psychiatrique, de préférence, d'un trouble bipolaire. L'invention concerne également l'utilisation de ces composés pour préparer un inhibiteur de la synthase MIP ainsi qu'une composition pharmaceutique contenant ces composés et destinée au traitement d'un trouble psychiatrique. L'invention concerne enfin un procédé de traitement d'un trouble psychiatrique, de préférence, d'un trouble bipolaire et un procédé d'inhibition d'une enzyme ayant une activité synthase de MIP.
