There is provided a granular, silicate-built, phosphate laundry detergent composition comprising fine alkali metal percarbonate particles having mean particle diameter below 450 µm, preferably below 400 µm, wherein no more than 20 %, preferably no more than 10 %, of the particles have a diameter above 710 µm, said particles having a coating comprising one or more soluble inorganic salts. The salts may be selected from alkali or alkaline earth metal carbonates, sulphates, chlorides and nitrates. The coated percarbonate particles have improved stability to storage and are capable of dissolving quickly in wash liquor.

L'invention concerne une composition de détergent à lessive granuleux qui est à base de silicates et ne contient pas de phosphates. Cette composition contient de fines particules de percarbonates de métaux alcalins dont le diamètre moyen est inférieur à 450 mum, et de préférence inférieur à 400 mum; un maximum de 20 %, ou de préférnce de 10 % des particules ont un diamètre supérieur à 710 mum. Ces particules ont un revêtement composé d'un ou de plusieurs sels inorganiques solubles. Il peut s'agir de carbonates, de sulphates, de chlorures ou de nitrates d'alcali ou de métaux terreux alcalins. Les particules de percarbonates qui ont un revêtement sont plus stables du point de vue du stockage et peuvent se dissoudre rapidement dans une lessive.
