A dunnage conver-sion machine (10) and method for providing strips of dunnage that fill a void in a container are characterized by means (24) for separately guiding at least two sheets of stock material (14 and 16) to respective laterally--disposed regions of an inlet (20) to a conversion assembly (40) such that one sheet does not wrap around an-other sheet, and means (12) for con-verting the sheets into strips of dun-nage that can readily separate and follow separate paths.

L'invention porte sur une machine de conversion de fardage (10) et sur un procédé pour fournir des bandes de fardage qui remplissent un vide dans un conteneur, qui sont caractérisés par des moyens (24) pour guider séparément au moins deux feuilles de matière première (14 et 16) vers des régions disposées latéralement respectives d'une entrée (20) vers un ensemble de conversion (40), de telle sorte qu'une feuille ne s'enroule pas autour d'une autre feuille, et des moyens (12) pour convertir les feuilles en bandes de fardage qui peuvent facilement se séparer et suivre des trajets séparés.
