2053890 9113370 PCTABS00007 The figure shows a transmitter (10), where an oscillator (12) generates a base frequency of 100 kHz to be fed into a divide-by-four unit (14). The divide-by-four unit (14) produces a 25 kHz output signal to be fed into the regulated power supply (16). The output of the regulated power supply (16) is fed into the output stage (18) of transmitter (10) for transmission. The impulse antenna (200) creates a monocycle. This system recovers signals otherwise obscured by noise.
