At the setting of a gearshift position to a D position or a P position (step S130) where damping control is performed with motors MG1 and MG2 to reduce the vibration of an engine 22, the procedure adopts threshold values A1, B1, and C1 for detection of an engine misfire (step S180). At the setting of the gearshift position to an N position where the damping control is not performed, the procedure adopts threshold values A2, B2, and C2, which are greater than the threshold values A1, B1, and C1, for detection of an engine misfire (step S210). The threshold values used for engine misfire detection are thus changed over according to the execution or non-execution of the damping control. This arrangement enables engine misfire detection by a simple series of processing.
Dispositif de détermination de raté d'allumage où, quand on choisit une position (P) comme position de changement (S130) et que les moteurs électriques (MG1) et (MG2) effectuent une commande d'amortissement de vibrations pour supprimer les vibrations d'un moteur (22), le dispositif fixe des seuils (A1, B1, C1) utilisés pour la détermination de raté d'allumage (S180) et identifie un raté d'allumage en utilisant les seuils fixés. D'autre part, quand on choisit une position (N) et qu'aucune commande d'amortissement de vibrations n'est effectuée, on fixe des seuils (A2, B2, C2) qui sont plus élevés que les seuils (A1, B1, C1) (S210) et on identifie un raté d'allumage en utilisant les seuils fixés. Ainsi, on change les seuils pour la détermination de raté d'allumage en fonction de l'exécution ou non d'une commande d'amortissement de vibrations, de sorte que l'on peut identifier un raté d'allumage par un processus plus simple.
