An apparatus (10) is provided for digital signal processing of telecommunication signals along respective transmit and receive paths (12b, 14b) of a two-way telecommunication link. The respective transmit and receive signals each include an audio data component (SI', RI') and a timing component (S, R). Digital signal processing of at least one of the signals, such as an echo cancellation, employs information derived from the audio data component of the other signal. To compensate for differences between the respective timing components of the signals, re-synchronization of each signal in terms of the timing component of the other signal is performed prior to modifying the audio data component of the other signal.
L'invention concerne un appareil (10) de traitement numérique du signal de signaux de télécommunications le long de voies (12b, 14b) respectives d'émission et de réception d'un lien de télécommunication bidirectionnel. Les signaux d'émission et de réception respectifs comprennent chacun un composant de données audio (SI', RI') et un composant de synchronisation (?¿S?, ?¿R?). Un traitement numérique du signal d'au moins un des signaux, tel qu'une annulation d'écho, fait appel à des informations provenant du composant de données audio de l'autre signal. Pour compenser les différences entre les composants de synchronisation respectifs des signaux, on procède à une resynchronisation de chaque signal par rapport au composant de synchronisation de l'autre signal, avant de modifier le composant de données audio de l'autre signal.
