The invention relates to a method that is particularly suitable for the repair of damaged composite fibre components 1 with integrated fibre optics on aircraft. The method involves: a) pre-treating damaged area 2. in particular by mechanical removal of material, at least in certain areas; b) disclosing fibre optic 3 in an edge area 6 of damaged area 2, in particular by a chemical etching process, c) splicing in a bridging fibre optic 18 for restoring the optical connection; and d) gluing in and/or over a repair patch 20. The invention also relates to a device, in particular a repair stick 7, with two containers 8, 9 connected by a valve 10, and a contact body 11 connected by a flexible pipe 12 to second container 9. The container 9 contains an acid for carrying out the actual etching process, and second container 8 is filled with a lye for neutralising the acid after completion of the etching process. The method and the device are particularly suitable for the so-called "in field" repair and/or in the production of composite fibre components with fibre optics.
L'invention concerne un procédé qui est particulièrement approprié en vue de la réparation de composants de fibre composite (1) endommagés avec des fibres optiques intégrées sur un avion. Le procédé implique les étapes consistant à : a) prétraiter la zone endommagée (2), en particulier par enlèvement mécanique de matière, au moins dans certaines parties ; b) révéler une fibre optique (3) dans une zone marginale (6) de la zone endommagée (2), en particulier par un processus d'attaque chimique, c) épisser une fibre optique de dérivation (18) pour restaurer la connexion optique ; et d) coller à l'intérieur et/ou sur le dessus un raccord de réparation (20). L'invention concerne également un dispositif, en particulier un stick de réparation (7), équipé de deux réservoirs (8, 9) reliés par un robinet (10), et un corps de contact (11) relié par un tube flexible (12) au second réservoir (9). Le réservoir (9) contient un acide pour effectuer le processus d'attaque chimique réel, et le second réservoir (8) est rempli d'une lessive de soude destinée à neutraliser l'acide une fois le processus d'attaque achevé. Le procédé et le dispositif sont particulièrement appropriés en vue de la réparation dite sur site et dans la production de composants de fibre composite avec des fibres optiques.
