This invention provides laminated paperboard in a process of producing the laminated paperboard having a food contacting burner layer which comprises a mixture of a polyester layer, a polymeric plasticizer, and a pigment. The burner composition is mixed together at room temperature, melted into a master batch, and extruded as a single layer onto a paperboard substrate. The barrier layer provides a food contact surface which can be pressed into a deep draw tray, the deep draw tray maintaining the structural integrity of the barrier coating.
L'invention concerne un carton laminé dans un procédé de production de ce carton laminé comportant une couche de protection pour contact alimentaire comprenant un mélange d'une couche de polyester, d'un plastifiant polymère et d'un pigment. Cette composition de protection est mélangée à température ambiante, fondue dans une cuvée principale et extrudée en une seule couche sur un substrat en carton. Cette couche de protection constitue une surface pour contact alimentaire qui peut être comprimée sous forme d'un plateau à emboutissage profond qui permet de conserver l'intégrité structurelle du revêtement de protection.
