A modular display device having a series of vertically oriented longitudinal display members, a top plate, a bottom plate, a plurality of generally horizontally oriented ring members and a torque bearing member. The upper ends of the longitudinal display members are connected to the top plate and the lower ends of the longitudinal display members are connected to the bottom plate allowing the longitudinal display members to be held generally vertical. The ring members are positioned between the top and bottom plates and also connected to the longitudinal display members. The torque bearing member extends between the top and bottom plates and provides rotational rigidity to the device.
