Seal arrangement, including a filter element (1), which is at least partially surrounded by a filter receiving frame (2), whereby the filter element (1) has a seal element (3) at an end surface which sealingly engages the filter receiving frame (2) under elastic pretension. The filter receiving frame (2) on an end surface (4) facing the seal element (3) has a U- shaped profile which is closed in circumferential direction and open in direction of the filter element (1), whereby only the inner-web (5) of the profile is constructed as a seal seat (6) and sealing the engages the seal element (3). The filter receiving frame can be more easily and economically manufactured.
