A device is provided for clearing a swath within the earth. The device has a frame for mounting the device onto an industrial vehicle. A rotating track is disposed on the frame. At least one reinforcing panel is mounted adjacent an end of the track that protects the end of the track from binding and damage due to obstacles disposed on the swath being cleared. A bottom plate is disposed directly beneath the track, and a top protecting shield is disposed above the track. When the vehicle moves forward, the bottom plate and the track operate to move a layer of earth from in front of the vehicle to a side of the vehicle.
Dispositif servant à défricher un andain en creusant la terre. Il comporte un cadre grâce auquel on peut le monter sur un véhicule industriel. Ce cadre est équipé d'une chenille tournante. Un panneau de renfort au moins est monté dans une position où il avoisine l'une des extrémités de la chenille et où il empêche cette extrémité de la chenille de se plier et de subir des dommages en rencontrant des obstacles dans l'andain à défricher. Un patin est placé directement sous la chenille et un écran protecteur supérieur est fixé au-dessus de la chenille. Lorsque le véhicule avance, le patin et la chenille remuent une couche de terre devant le véhicule et la rejettent sur l'un de ses côtés.
