Traction apparatus for medically and physically treating herniated nucleosus pulposus or sprain and strain is disclosed. The traction apparatus comprises an upper support frame (10), a lower support frame (30), and a plurality of tubes (60). The traction apparatus further includes an exercising device (20). The upper support frame (10) encircles the upper part of the therapy region and has two free ends positioned in space relation. The lower support frame (30) encircles the lower part of the therapy region and has two free ends positioned in space relation. The tubes are expandable to provide traction on the therapy region and are filled up with fluid which is generated by a fluid generating device. Preferably, the fluid generating device (45, 46) is a programmed controller including additionally pressure regulating function, timing function, intermittent ON and OFF function, etc.

L'invention concerne un appareil de traction pour le traitement médical et physique de la hernie discale ou du tour de reins. L'appareil comprend un cadre de soutien supérieur (10), un cadre de soutien inférieur (30), et une pluralité de tubes (60). Il comprend aussi un dispositif pour l'exercice (20). Le cadre supérieur (10) enveloppe la partie haute de la région traitée et possède deux extrémités libres espacées. Les tubes sont extensibles pour assurer l'effet de traction sur la région traitée et ils sont remplis d'un fluide émanant d'un système d'alimentation en fluide. De préférence, le système d'alimentation considéré (45, 46) est un dispositif de commande programmé comportant un certain nombre de fonctions additionnelles: régulation de pression, contrôle de durée et de synchronisation, contrôle intermittent de passage en MARCHE et en ARRET, etc.
