Compound of formula (I): and pharmaceutically acceptable salts and esters thereof, wherein R1 is aryl; R2 is hydrogen, alkyl or cycloalkyl; R3 is hydrogen, alkyl, aralkyl, aryl, alkylcarbonyl, arylcarbonyl, alkyl-S(O)2- or aryl-S(O)2- ; R4 is aralkyl; R5, R6, R7 and R8 are independently selected from hydrogen, alkyl or cycloalkyl; and n is 1,2,3,4 or 5, are useful as insulin sensititers, particularly PPAR activators.

R?1¿ représente aryle; R?2¿ représente hydrogène alkyle ou cycloalkyle ; R?3¿ représente hydrogène, alkyle, aralkyle, aryle, alkylcarbonyle, arylcarbonyle, alkyl-S(O)¿2?- or aryl-S(O)¿2?-; R?4¿ représente aralkyle; R?5¿, R?6¿, R?7¿ et R?8¿ sont choisis séparément parmi l'hydrogène, l'alkyle ou le cycloalkyle ; et n représente 1,2,3,4 ou 5.
