ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A pasteurizable and/or cook-in shrink film is provided with good cold strength, hot strength, grease resistance, and orientability. The film is characterized by a) the presence of e-thylene alkyl acrylate copolymer in -the second or abuse layers, or both, and by b) the presence of very low density polyethylene in the second or abuse layers, or both. Bags or casings made from the invention may be closed by heat sealing or by the use of clips.
