The invention relates to a method and system for restricting access to an electronic message system. The electronic message system comprises a server system capable of transmitting an electronic message from a first user device to one or more second user devices. The method involves receiving an electronic message from the first user device and providing the electronic message or a portion thereof to one or more of the second user devices. Spam notification signals may be received for the electronic message or the portion thereof from one or more of the second user devices. The method involves restricting access to the server system for the (user of the) first user device in response to receiving said one or more spam notification signals.

L'invention concerne un procédé et un système permettant de restreindre l'accès à un système de message électronique. Le système de message électronique comprend un système de serveur capable de transmettre un message électronique depuis un premier dispositif utilisateur à au moins un deuxième dispositif utilisateur. Le procédé consiste à recevoir un message électronique du premier dispositif utilisateur et à mettre à disposition le message électronique ou une partie de ce dernier d'au moins un deuxième dispositif utilisateur. Des signaux de notification de pourriel peuvent être reçus par au moins un deuxième dispositif utilisateur à destination du message électronique ou d'une partie de ce dernier. Le procédé consiste à restreindre l'accès au système de serveur à destination de l'utilisateur du premier dispositif utilisateur en réponse à la réception d'au moins un signal de notification de pourriel.
