A system and method enables a user such as a visitor to a facility to create a photographic identification card for himself. The user terminal prompts a user to enter identifying information including his name, and takes a photograph of the user. An identification badge is printed for the user upon predefined media. The identification card may be provided with a barcode and unique identification number. The user may be presented with a preview of the identification as the identification card is to be printed. Upon exiting the location, the user may scan the barcode or enter the unique identification number to sign out of the system and exit the location. A user activity log may be maintained at a server such that each time an identification card is created, printed or signed out, the log is updated with information regarding the user information, date, time, location or other information.
La présente invention a trait à un système et à un procédé permettant la création d'une carte d'identité photographique personnelle par un utilisateur tel qu'un visiteur à une installation. Le terminal utilisateur sollicite l'utilisateur à effectuer une entrée d'information d'identification comprenant son nom, et réalise une photographie de l'utilisateur. Un badge d'identification est imprimé pour l'utilisateur sur un support prédéterminé. La carte d'identité peut être munie d'un code à barres et un numéro d'identification unique. L'utilisateur peut obtenir la présentation d'une épreuve de l'identification telle que la carte d'identité va être imprimée. Lors de sa sortie du site, l'utilisateur peut effectuer une lecture du code à barres ou effectuer l'entrée du numéro d'identification pour contresigner sa sortie du système et quitter le site. Un registre d'activités d'usagers peut être tenu au niveau d'un serveur à chaque fois qu'une carte est créée, imprimée ou contresignée, le registre étant mis à jour concernant l'information d'utilisateur, la date, l'heure, la localisation ou toute autre information.
