An apparatus for displaying a stereoscopic image, the apparatus having a predefined field frequency for displaying the image, and including a first filter means for passing a first perspective of an image with a first spectral component of a colour spectrum, a second filter means for passing a second perspective of the image with a second spectral component of the colour spectrum, and an alternating means for alternating the first and second spectral components, wherein the alternating means operates at a rate equal to an odd multiple of the field frequency of the display apparatus.
L'invention concerne un appareil permettant de produire des images stéréoscopiques, l'appareil ayant une fréquence de champs prédéfinie pour l'affichage de l'image et comprenant un premier filtre pour le passage d'une première perspective d'une image avec un premier composant spectral du spectre des couleurs, un second filtre pour faire passer une seconde perspective de l'image avec un second composant spectral du spectre des couleurs et un organe d'alternance pour faire alterner les premier et second composants spectraux, l'organe d'alternance fonctionnant à une vitesse égale à un multiple impair de la fréquence des champs de l'appareil produisant les images.
