Damaged thermoplastics can be outstandingly stabilized by the use of a mixture comprising a) 0.05 to 20% by weight, based on the plastic to be stabilized, of at least one polyfunctional epoxide, b) 0.01 to 29% by weight, based on the plastic to be stabilized, of at least one sterically hindered phenol.
