A board game comprising: a board having marked thereon a plurality of positions representing features in a real and/or imaginary region of space and with paths between said positions; a number of playing pieces for use by respective players of the game for movement along said paths in accordance with rules of the game; randomly operable indicating means for determining moves which may be made by said playing pieces; and randomly selectable indicating means associated with at least some of said positions on the board for determining further factors associated with movement of said playing pieces.
