The invention is relative to an electrolytic cell comprising electrodes spaced apart from the back-wall (1) by means of ribs (3), wherein a portion of the contact surface between the electrodes (2) and the ribs (3) is free from constraints in order to permit the complete removal of the electrodes once they have to be replaced by removing only partially the original contact surface, so that positioning of the substitute electrodes is allowed on the residual portion. A method for substituting the electrodes of the cell which leaves the distance between the electrode surface and the back-wall unvaried is also disclosed.
L'invention concerne une cellule électrolytique comprenant des électrodes espacées de la paroi arrière (1) par des éléments (3), une partie de la surface de contact située entre les électrodes (2) et les éléments (3) n'étant pas soumise à des contraintes afin de permettre l'extraction complète des électrodes lors de leur remplacement, par une élimination partielle de la surface de contact initiale en vue du positionnement d'électrodes de remplacement sur la partie restante. L'invention concerne aussi un procédé de remplacement d'électrodes de la cellule, qui permet de maintenir la même distance entre la surface d'électrode et la paroi arrière.
