A method is disclosed for storing received real-time media streams into a multimedia container file (1200). Media content is recorded into a file according to a file format that provides instructions for constructing the media packets. At least one received media packet is represented in the file using the instructions for constructing media packets. The at least one received media packet in the file is also associated with an indication that it may contain errors. This technology bears the advantage that erroneously transmitted packets are easy to detect which can be applied to prevent a crash of the replay device.

Un contenu multimédia est enregistré dans un fichier conformément à un format de fichier qui fournit des instructions permettant de construire les paquets multimédias.
