A method and apparatus for forming corrugated pipe is disclosed. The pipe forming apparatus includes a selectively operable corrugation module having an inner corrugation roller movably mounted relative to an outer corrugation roller via a cylinder assembly. The method inlcudes forming a length of spiral pipe without corrugations, engaging a corrugation module to introduce a desired length of corrugated pipe, and retracting the corrugation unit to allow a second length of uncorrugated pipe to form. The uncorrugated portion of the pipe is then severed cleanly using overlapping inner and outer cutting knives.
L'invention porte sur un procédé et un appareil de formage de tubes ondulés. L'appareil consiste en modules d'ondulation choisissables comportant un rouleau onduleur intérieur monté mobile par rapport à un rouleau onduleur extérieur, lesdits rouleaux étant reliés l'un à l'autre par l'intermédiaire d'un système à vérin. Le procédé consiste à produire une longueur de tube spiralé non ondulé, à mettre en place un module d'ondulation pour produire une longueur désirée de tube ondulé, puis à retirer le module d'ondulation pour permettre la formation d'une deuxième longueur sans ondulations. La partie sans ondulations est ensuite découpée proprement à l'aide de couteaux extérieur et intérieur se recouvrant.
