The present invention provides a method for increasing the expression of MAFA in cells expressing markers char-acteristic of the pancreatic endocrine lineage comprising the steps of culturing the cells expressing markers characteristic of the pancreatic endocrine lineage in medium comprising a sufficient amount of a cyclin-dependant kinase inhibitor to cause an increase in expression of MAFA.
La présente invention porte sur un procédé, pour augmenter l'expression de MAFA dans des cellules exprimant des marqueurs caractéristiques de la lignée endocrine pancréatique, qui consiste à mettre en culture les cellules exprimant des marqueurs caractéristiques de la lignée endocrine pancréatique dans un milieu comportant une quantité suffisante d'un inhibiteur de kinase qui dépend de cyclines pour provoquer une augmentation de l'expression de MAFA.
