An arrangement for supporting a mortar shell into a breech-loading weapon barrel (2). The arrangement comprises a support piece (6) provided with an edge flange (7) and to be attached to the tail of the mortar shell (1), whereby the arrangement further comprises a connecting piece (8) between the support piece and the mortar shell tail, which connecting piece is arranged to be at- tached to the mortar shell and the support piece and thus to attach the support piece with a mechanical joint to the mortar shell tail. In connection with the connecting piece (8), there is a point which is arranged to yield in a firing situation and thus to allow the mortar shell (1) to be detached from the support piece (6); and a firing mechanism (17) for firing the actual primer (10) of the mortar shell. The mechanical joint between the connecting piece (8) and the support piece (6) has been formed by means of cotter attachment (14).
La présente invention concerne dispositif servant à supporter un obus de mortier (1) à l'arrivée dans le tube d'une arme à chargement par la culasse (2). Le dispositif support comprend une pièce support (6) qui est pourvue d'un bord en collerette (7) et qui se fixe à l'empennage de l'obus de mortier (1). Le dispositif comprend également une pièce de liaison (8) entre la pièce support et l'empennage de l'obus de mortier. Cette pièce de liaison est conçue pour se fixer à l'obus de mortier et à la pièce support, et donc pour fixer à l'empennage de l'obus de mortier la pièce support au moyen d'un joint mécanique. En relation avec la pièce de liaison (8), il y a, d'une part un point qui est organisé pour aboutir à une situation de mise à feu et ainsi permettre à l'obus de mortier (1) de se détacher de la pièce support (6), et d'autre part un mécanisme de mise à feu (17) pour la mise à feu de l'amorce réelle (10) de l'obus de mortier. Le joint mécanique entre la pièce de liaison (8) et la pièce support a été réalisé au moyen d'une fixation à goupille (14).
