A method of attracting houseflies, mosquitoes or wasps to a particular location, which method comprises placing at the said location a lure containing an effective attractant composition which comprises at least one compound which is a substituted benzene-derivative having one or more short side chains, which compound is volatile at room temperature and has a molecular weight in the range of from 115 to 155.
Procédé permettant d'attirer les mouches domestiques, les moustiques ou les guêpes vers un endroit particulier, ce procédé consistant à placer à cet endroit une substance attractive renfermant une composition d'agent attractif efficace comprenant au moins un composé qui est un dérivé de benzène substitué possédant une ou plusieurs chaînes latérales courtes. Ce composé est volatil à température ambiante et a un poids moléculaire compris entre 115 et 155.
