ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Bumper strips for use on the sides of automobiles are usually produced by the extrusion or injection molding of a plastic. Such strips may even include two materials of differing hardness. It has been found that such strips can readily by produced in a one-step molding method in which a tubular parison with a hard plastic body and a pair of opposed longitudinally extending strips of soft plastic compatible with the body plastic is blow molded. The resulting product includes a hard, tubular, plastic body with soft, flexible wings extending outwardly from the top and bottom edges thereof for bearing against the vehicle body.
