A micro-volume fluid injector (10) includes a three-part housing (100, 200, 300) with a conically-shaped recess (106) terminating in an outlet orifice (108) and a conically-shaped plunger (230) which is movable within the recess (106). A piezoelectric disk (270) is secured to the plunger (230) so as to move the plunger in a reciprocating motion to pump the fluid through the orifice (108).

Un injecteur (10) pour des micro-volumes de fluide comporte un logement en trois parties (100, 200, 300) avec un creux (106) de forme conique se terminant par un orifice de sortie (108), et un piston de forme conique (230) qui peut se déplacer dans le creux (106). Un disque piézo-électrique (270) est fixé au piston (230) de manière à se déplacer avec le piston dans un mouvement de va-et-vient pour pomper le fluid par l'orifice (108).
