A method of forming a wall unit (50) having a veneer face is disclosed. Initially, a pair of side wall panels (12, 14) and a pair of end panels (16, 18) are mounted substantially upright. Stones (26) or other suitable material are set sequentially in a horizontal disposed course using at least one of the panels for support. Additional courses of stones or other material may then be stacked upon the initial layer until the desired height is attained. The interior volume of the apparatus is left substantially empty, and is then filled with a binding material (34). The binding material (34) binds the courses' components together and integrates the individual courses into a single cohesive unit (50). The wall and end panels are removed and the unit is removed for subsequent installation.

L'invention concerne un procédé de formation d'une unité murale ayant une face de placage. En premier lieu, deux panneaux latéraux muraux et deux panneaux d'extrémité sont montés sensiblement droits. Des pierres ou matériaux appropriés sont posées séquentiellement en rangées horizontales au moyen d'au moins un des panneaux.
