The invention relates to a two-part mandibular protrusion orthesis (1) for preventing against snoring and obstructive sleep apnea comprising lower (2) and top (3) parts each of which consists of a shelf (2a, 3a) which is rigid, shapeable and open towards the low and top jaws, wherein the bottom surfaces on the external sides of the shelves (2a, 3a) are connected in such a way that they are continuously displaceable with respect to each other. The invention also relates to a corresponding ready-to-use set for producing or restoring the mandibular protrusion orthesis comprising (i) the rigid and shapeable shelves (2a, 3a) provided with preformed fixing elements on the external sides of the bottom, respectively, (ii) one or several adjusting screws (10) for assembling the fixing elements and (iii) optionally with a user manual.
L'invention concerne une orthèse d'avancée mandibulaire (1) en deux parties, servant à empêcher le ronflement et l'apnée obstructive du sommeil, comprenant une partie inférieure (2) et une partie supérieure (3) constituées chacune d'une coque (2a, 3a) résistant à la flexion, façonnable et ouverte vers la mâchoire inférieure et la mâchoire supérieure. Les surfaces de fond des côtés extérieurs des deux coques (2a, 3a) sont raccordées de façon à pouvoir être déplacées en continu l'une par rapport à l'autre. L'invention concerne également un ensemble correspondant, prêt à l'emploi, servant à produire ou à reconstituer des orthèses d'avancée mandibulaire, comprenant: (i) des coques résistant à la flexion et façonnables (2a, 3a) pourvues respectivement d'éléments de fixation préformés sur les côtés extérieurs des surfaces de fond; (ii) une ou plusieurs vis de réglage (10) servant à assembler les éléments de fixation; et éventuellement (iii) un mode d'emploi.
