A method is provided for producing a coloured cosmetic stick of reproducible hardness through utilizing a wax that has been treated with an alcohol to convert any naturally-occurring C12-C60 fatty acid into a respective ester. This esterified wax is then mixed with an aluminum salt colorant and then formed into a stick. There is also disclosed coloured cosmetic sticks produced through the aforementioned process.

Procédé de fabrication de produit cosmétique coloré en bâton dont la consistance est déterminée grâce à l'utilisation d'une cire traitée avec un alcool pour transformer les acides gras à 12-60 carbones naturellement présents en leurs esters respectifs. Cette cire estérifiée est ensuite mélangée avec un colorant à base de sel d'aluminium avant d'être mise en bâton. Cette invention concerne également les produits cosmétiques colorés en bâton fabriqués selon le procédé décrit.
