A system, and method are provided for detecting dislodgment of a right atrial endocardial lead (35) implanted within a heart right atrium wherein the lead includes an electrode. Heart activity of the right ventricle of the heart, and heart activity with the endocardial lead electrode are sensed during a time period. The sensed heart activity is stored in memory (90). The stored heart activity is analyzed to establish a first time window from the sensed ventricle activity, a second time window spaced from, and preceding the first time window. The heart activity sensed with the endocardial lead electrode during the first time window is then compared to the heart activity sensed with the endocardial lead electrode during the second time window. In another embodiment, whenever heart activity is sensed with the atrial endocardial lead during the first time period, the atrial endocardial lead is considered dislodged.
L'invention concerne un système et un procédé permettant de détecter le détachement d'une dérivation endocardiaque (35) implantée dans l'oreillette droite du coeur, la dérivation comprenant une électrode. L'activité cardiaque du ventricule droit du coeur et l'activité cardiaque avec l'électrode à dérivation endocardiaque sont détectées durant une période de temps. L'activité cardiaque détectée est mémorisée dans une mémoire (90). L'activité cardiaque mémorisée est analysée en vue d'établir une première fenêtre temporelle à partir de l'activité ventriculaire détectée, une deuxième fenêtre temporelle espacée de la première et précédant celle-ci. L'activité cardiaque détectée par l'électrode de dérivation endocardiaque durant la première fenêtre temporelle, est ensuite comparée à l'activité cardiaque détectée par l'électrode de dérivation endocardiaque durant la deuxième fenêtre temporelle. Dans une autre forme d'exécution, lorsque l'activité cardiaque est détectée par la dérivation endocardiaque auriculaire durant la première période, la dérivation endocardiaque auriculaire est considérée comme détachée.
