The invention relates to methods for simultaneously producing crimped fibre strips in parallel, in particular filter tow strips, in a crimping machine (KM) having an inlet region (3), a squeezing zone (6) formed between two transport rollers (4, 5), and a compression channel (7), comprising the following steps: a) simultaneously feeding in parallel a plurality of fibre strips (1, 2) via the inlet region (3), wherein the fibre strips are guided separately in the inlet region (3), using a first separating device (31), b) simultaneously transporting and compacting in parallel the fibre strips in the squeezing zone (6) by way of the two transport rollers (4, 5), and c) simultaneously crimping in parallel the fibre strips in the compression channel (7), wherein the fibre strips are guided separately in method step b) by using a second separating device (61) and in method step c) by using a third separating device (71), and wherein the first, second and third separating devices (31, 61, 71) are designed such that the separate guidance in parallel of the fibre strips takes place from the inlet region (3) through the squeezing zone (6) into the compression channel (7) without interruption. Moreover, the invention relates to an apparatus for executing said method. The invention enables the simultaneous formation of a plurality of separate, crimped fibre strips, having a substantially constant and symmetric crimping characteristic over the respective entire fibre strip cross- section, and in particular also cost-effective production of crimped filter tow strips, having a low overall titer, by avoiding the phenomenon of the split-off edge, by way of a conventional spinning and crimping machine.
L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication parallèle et simultanée de bandes de fibres crêpées, en particulier de bandes de filasse filtrante, dans une machine de crêpage (KM) possédant une zone d'entrée (3), une zone de compression (6) formée entre deux galets de transport (4, 5) et un canal à fouler (7). Les étapes sont les suivantes : a) amenée parallèle et simultanée d'une pluralité de bandes de fibres (1, 2) dans la zone d'entrée (3), les bandes de fibres étant guidées séparément dans la zone d'entrée (3) grâce à un premier dispositif de séparation (31) ; b) transport et compactage parallèles et simultanés des bandes de fibres dans la zone de compression (6) grâce aux deux galets de transport (4, 5) ; et c) crêpage parallèle et simultané des bandes de fibres dans le canal à fouler (7). Dans l'étape de procédé b), les bandes de fibres sont guidées séparément à l'aide d'un deuxième dispositif de séparation (61) et, dans l'étape de procédé c), grâce à un troisième dispositif de séparation (71). Les premier, deuxième et troisième dispositifs de séparation (31, 61, 71) sont configurés de manière que le guidage parallèle et séparé des bandes de fibres entre la zone d'entrée (3), la zone de compression (6) et le canal à fouler (7) se fasse sans interruption. L'invention concerne en outre un dispositif destiné à mettre en uvre ce procédé. L'invention permet de produire simultanément une pluralité de bandes de fibres crêpées séparées les unes des autres avec des caractéristiques de crêpage sensiblement constantes et symétriques sur l'ensemble de la section de chacune des bandes de fibres et, en particulier, une fabrication économique de bandes crêpées pour filasse de filtrage, avec un faible titre global, en évitant le problème des arêtes fendues, sur une machine conventionnelle de filature et de crêpage.
