An infusion preparation which contains (2R)-2-propyloctanoic acid or its salt useful in treating neurodegenerative diseases and a basic metal ion supplied from a metal salt of a weak acid or a metal hydroxide preferably in an amount of about 1 to 5 equivalents per equivalent of the (2R)-2-propyloctanoic acid or its salt optionally together with other infusion component(s). This infusion preparation has a pH value suitable for intravenous administration and is useful in continuous intravenous administration without a need for any pretreatment such as dissolution or dilution before using.
L'invention concerne une préparation de transfusion contenant un acide (2R)-2-propyloctanoïque ou un sel de celui-ci, utilisé dans le traitement des maladies neurodégénératives, et un ion métallique de base obtenu d'un sel métallique d'un acide faible ou d'un hydroxyde métallique, de préférence en une quantité d'environ 1 à 5 équivalents par équivalent de l'acide (2R)-2-propyloctanoïque ou de son sel avec, éventuellement, d'autres composants de transfusion. La préparation de transfusion possède une valeur de pH adaptée pour une administration par voie intraveineuse, et est utilisée dans une administration par voie intraveineuse continue sans que soit nécessaire un quelconque traitement préalable, par exemple une dissolution ou dilution, avant son utilisation.
