Under one aspect, a method of providing combinational services to a user endpoint includes providing a radio access network in communication with the user endpoint; providing a circuit-switched (CS) network in communication with the radio access network, the CS network comprising at least one mobile switching center (MSC) capable of providing a voice service to the user endpoint via the radio access network; providing an IP multimedia subsystem (IMS) core in communication with the radio access network, the IMS core comprising at least one call, state control function (CSCF); providing one or more application servers (AS) in communication with the IMS core, the one or more AS capable of providing a corresponding one or more data services to the user endpoint via the CSCF and radio access network; providing a serving node (SN) in communication with the CS network and the IMS core; configuring logic in the MSC to send a first pre-defined message to the SN in response to a trigger detection point (TDP) that is triggered by the user endpoint requesting a voice service or a first entity requesting a voice service with the user endpoint; configuring logic in the CSCF to send a second pre-defined message to the SN in response to a service point trigger (SPT) that is triggered by the user endpoint requesting a data service or by a second entity requesting a data service with the user endpoint; and configuring logic in the SN to receive and respond to at least one of the first and second pre-defined messages by at least one of sending instructions to the MSC to provide a voice service to the user endpoint and sending instructions to the AS to provide a data service to the user endpoint.
L'invention concerne, dans un aspect, un procédé de fourniture de services combinés à un point terminal utilisateur. Le procédé consiste à: mettre en oeuvre un réseau d'accès radio communiquant avec le point terminal utilisateur; mettre en AEuvre un réseau à commutation de circuits (CS) communiquant avec le réseau d'accès radio, ledit réseau CS comprenant au moins un centre de communication mobile (MSC) pouvant fournir un service vocal au point terminal utilisateur par l'intermédiaire du réseau d'accès radio; mettre en oeuvre un cAEur de sous-système multimédia IP (IMS) communiquant avec le réseau d'accès radio, ledit noyau IMS comprenant au moins une fonction de commande d'état d'appel (CSCF); mettre en AEuvre un ou plusieurs serveurs d'application (AS) communiquant avec le noyau IMS et pouvant fournir un ou plusieurs services de données correspondants au point terminal utilisateur par le biais de la CSCF et du réseau d'accès radio; mettre en oeuvre un nAEud de service (SN) communiquant avec le réseau CS et le noyau IMS; configurer une logique dans le MSC en vue d'envoyer au SN un premier message prédéfini consécutivement au déclenchement d'un point de détection de déclenchement (TDP) par le point terminal utilisateur demandant un service vocal ou par une première entité demandant un service vocal avec le point terminal utilisateur; configurer une logique dans la CSCF en vue d'envoyer au SN un second message prédéfini consécutivement au déclenchement d'un point de service (SPT) par le point terminal utilisateur demandant un service de données ou par une seconde entité demandant un service de données avec le point terminal utilisateur; et configurer une logique dans le SN en vue de recevoir le premier ou le second message prédéfini et d'y répondre par l'envoi au MSC d'une instruction de fourniture d'un service vocal au point terminal utilisateur ou l'envoi à l'AS d'une instruction de fourniture d'un service de données au point terminal utilisateur.
