The invention provides a multi-terminal connector for connecting a circuit board to another circuit board. The connector body consists of a first body having a bar-like base part and an uprightly and linearly projecting part and a second body having a slot into which the projecting part of the first body fits. The first body is to be attached to a circuit board and the second body to another. The first body has cavities at intervals in the lengthwise direction, and each cavity provides openings in side faces of the projecting part. A shaft extends through the projecting part of the first body, and contact blades are fixed to the shaft in the respective cavities in the first body. The slot of the second body is laterally enlarged in sections corresponding to the cavities in the first body to provide cross-sectionally circular spaces in the assembled two bodies to allow rotation of the contact blades by turning the shaft. The second body is coupled with the first body while the contact blades are kept in the vertically extending position. Connecting terminals are provided in both the first and second bodies, and each contact blade makes contact with at least one terminal in the first body and at least one terminal in the second body when the blade is turned to the horizontally extending position. Using this connector, a circuit board which is held upright can be attached to another circuit board placed horizontally by laterally moving the upright circuit board.
