A child fitting orthopedic seating assembly has size adjustment features accommodating child growth. The assembly is formed by a seat bottom which is horizontally adjustable to vary front to back depth of the seating assembly and a seat back which is vertically adjustable to vary height of the seating assembly. The seat bottom and seat back are adjustably secured relative to one another by a seat adjustment having a plurality of locking positions with adjacent locking positions being separated from one another by intervening material which blocks slippage between the adjacent locking positions. The assembly further has a flat base and a tilt mechanism between the flat base and the seat bottom.
