An iontophoresis device for efficient and continuous absorption for a long time. The iontophoresis device includes first and second electrode structural bodies (100a and 110a) respectively having hydrophilic conductive layers (102a and 112a) containing an effective component and electrode members (101a and 111a), and a power supply (120a) having polarity inverting means for changing the direction of the current flowing between the electrode structural bodies. At least one of the electrode structural bodies contains chloride ions. The amount of chloride ions (Pmg) before administration satisfies the inequality 1.0 x (I x T x<=0P022) (where T is the polarity inversion time taken for the polarity to be inverted after current application in a constant direction and I is the average current (mA)).

Cette invention se rapporte à un dispositif d'iontophorèse servant à produire une absorption efficace et continue sur une longue période. Ce dispositif d'iontophorèse comprend des première et seconde structures électrodes (100a et 110a) comportant respectivement des couches conductrices hydrophiles (102a et 112a) contenant un constituant efficace et des éléments électrodes (101a et 111a), ainsi qu'une alimentation (120a) comportant un moyen d'inversion de polarité destiné à changer la direction du courant passant entre les structures électrodes.
