A process for preparing high density detergent compositions is provided. The process comprises the steps of: (a) continuously mixing a detergent surfactant paste and dry starting detergent material into a high speed mixer/densifier to obtain detergent agglomerates, wherein the ratio of the surfactant paste to the dry detergent material is from about 1:10 to about 10:1; (b) mixing the detergent agglomerates in a moderate speed mixer/densifier to further densify and agglomerate the detergent agglomerates; and (c) drying said detergent agglomerates so as to form the high density detergent composition. The dry detergent material may contain a builder material including a crystalline microstructure in which a carbonate anion, a calcium cation and at least one water-soluble cation are contained. The process may include one or more additional processing steps such as adding a coating agent such as the builder material described herein after the moderate speed mixer/densifier to facilitate and control agglomeration.
Cette invention concerne un procédé de préparation de compositions détergentes haute densité, qui consiste à: (a) mélanger de manière continue une pâte d'agent tensioactif détergent et un matériau détergent sec de départ dans un mélangeur/épaississeur à grande vitesse de manière à obtenir des agglomérats détergents, le rapport entre la pâte d'agent tensioactif et le matériau détergent sec variant environ entre 1:10 et 10:1; (b) mélanger les agglomérats détergents dans un mélangeur/épaississeur à vitesse moyenne afin d'accroître encore la densité et l'agglomération des agglomérats détergents; et (c) sécher lesdits agglomérats détergents de manière à former une composition détergente haute densité. Le matériau détergent sec peut inclure un matériau adjuvant comportant une microstructure cristalline contenant un anion carbonate, un cation calcium, et au moins un cation soluble dans l'eau. Ce procédé peut également comprendre une ou plusieurs étapes supplémentaires de traitement, tel que l'addition après l'étape de mélange dans le mélangeur/épaississeur à vitesse moyenne, d'un agent de revêtement comme le matériau adjuvant décrit précédemment, ceci afin de faciliter et de mieux gérer l'agglomération.
