A compression molding machine includes a wheel (22) mounted for rotation around an axis and a plurality of angularly spaced molds (52) disposed around the support. Each of the molds includes a first mold segment and a second mold segment. At least one of the mold segments is movable with respect to the other mold segment between a closed position for compression molding a plastic article, and an open position for removing a molded article from the mold and placing a mold charge into the mold. An apparatus (130) is provided for placing mold charges into the molds in sequence.

Machine de moulage par compression qui comporte une roue (22) montée de manière à tourner autour d'un axe et une pluralité de moules (52) angulairement espacés placés autour du support. Chacun des moules comporte un premier segment et un second segment. Au moins un des segments de moule est mobile par rapport à l'autre segment de moule entre une position fermée pour le moulage par compression d'un article en plastique et une position ouverte permettant de sortir l'article moulé du moule et de placer une charge à mouler dans le moule. Un appareil (130) permet de placer en séquence des charges à mouler dans les moules.
