2066186 9105149 PCTABS00004 A method of burning fuel in a vehicle comprises mixing water with air whereby the water is atomized within the air, whereafter fuel is brought into contact with the atomized water in air, such that fuel is laid down on at least the outer surface of the atomized water droplets, and finally the fuel on the atomized water in air is combusted in the combustion chamber. The method can be used either with a petrol or diesel arrangement.
