A method of manufacturing an iron core of a multi-phase linear motor having a stator and a mover which are disposed facing each other with an air gap therebetween, the stator or mover including a plurality of salient poles disposed along the air gap extending in a direction perpendicular to a moving direction of the mover, a multiplicity of teeth formed on surfaces of the salient poles opposite to the air gap at an equal pitch along the moving direction of the mover, and a stator iron core or mover iron core in which the stator teeth formed in the salient poles or the mover teeth are disposed with a predetermined shift to each other in the moving direction of the mover. The method is characterized in that the stator iron core or mover iron core is formed by punching iron plates constituting the iron core by means of a punching mold, while selectively controlling to push out and withdraw movable punches included in said punching mold and disposed to be able to be pushed out and withdrawn for each of said salient poles by means of a punch controller. Thus, the tips of the salient poles form tooth tops or tooth bottoms of the teeth at a predetermined period for each punching of the iron plates. The punched iron plates are laminated successively.

Méthode de fabrication du noyau en fer d'un moteur linéaire multiphase comprenant un stator et une armature mobile disposés l'un en face de l'autre et séparés par un entrefer, le stator ou l'armature mobile comportant une pluralité de pôles saillants disposés le long de l'entrefer et se prolongeant dans une direction perpendiculaire au sens de déplacement de l'armature mobile, une multitude de dents formées sur les surfaces des pôles saillants de l'autre côté de l'entrefer à un angle égal le long du sens de déplacement de l'armature mobile. La particularité de cette méthode est que le noyau de fer du stator ou le noyau de fer de l'armature mobile sont formés par le poinçonnement de plaques de fer constituant le noyau de fer, au moyen d'une machine à poinçonner, tout en assurant un contrôle sélectif pour pousser et retirer les poinçons mobiles inclus dans ladite machine à poinçonner, et disposés de manière à pouvoir être poussés et retirés pour chacun des dits pôles saillants au moyen d'un contrôleur de poinçonnement. De cette manière, les extrémités des pôles saillants forment les sommets ou les bases des dents durant une période prédéterminée pour chaque poinçonnement des plaques de fer. Les plaques poinçonnées sont laminées successivement.
