These prepolymers containing maleimid functions (f) consist in reaction products of at least one maleic anhydride (I), of at least one compound (II) having at least one -NH2 function and at least one other function F: -OH, - NH2, -NH-, -COOH or -COOR3 or -OCOR3 (R3 = C1-C5 alkyl) and at least one chain forming compound (III) by polycondensation and/or polyaddition; (II) having been first reacted with (I) to open the maleic anhydride cycles, with formation of maleamic acid functions (f) which have then been at least partially re-closed by heat to produce N-substituted maleimids by the groups functionalised by F; the chain having been formed by polycondensation and/or polyaddition of the N-substituted maleimid bearing function F of compound(s) (III), of non aromatised products bearing a function F or not formed at the same time as said N-substituted maleimids, and of the maleic anhydride(s) (I) which could have been in excess after being opened by the compound(s) (II); the functionalities and proportions of (II) and (III) having been selected so as to preclude a gelation of the reaction medium. In (f), (I), and (f'), R1, R2 = H, C11-C12 alkyl or halogen.
Ces prépolymères comportant des fonctions maléimide (f) consistent en les produits de réaction d'au moins un anhydride maléique (I), d'au moins un composé (II) ayant au moins une fonction -NH2 et au moins une autre fonction F: -OH, -NH2, -NH-, -COOH ou -COOR<3> ou -OCOR<3> (R<3> = alkyle en C1-C5) et au moins un composé (III) de formation de la chaîne par polycondensation et/ou polyaddition; (II) ayant d'abord réagi avec (I) pour ouvrir les cycles anhydride maléique, avec formation de fonctions acide maléamique (f) lesquelles ont été ensuite au moins partiellement refermées par la chaleur pour donner des maléimides N-substitués par des groupements fonctionnalisés par F; la chaîne ayant été formée par polycondensation et/ou polyaddition du maléimide N-substitué portant la fonction F du ou des composés (III), des produits non cyclisés portant ou non une fonction F formés en même temps que lesdits maléimides N-substitués, et du ou des anhydrides maléiques (I) ayant pu se trouver en excès après leur ouverture par le(s) composé(s) (II); les fonctionnalités et proportions de (II) et (III) ayant été choisies de façon à exclure une gélification du milieu réactionnel. Dans (f), (I), et (f'), R<1>, R<2> = H, alkyle en C1-C12 ou halogène.
