A constructional panel (10) suitable for use in ground covering or decking or for constructing cladding or panelling has a complex shape in plan which allows the panel to be joined to a number of like panels to form a continuous array thereof. The panel (10) has a rectangular central section (13) and a pair of end sections (14, 15) extending from opposed end edges (23, 24) of the central section (13). Each end section (14, 15) has an isosceles trapezium part (16, 17) adjoining the central section (13) and a rectangular part (18, 19) adjoining the trapezium part (16, 17). Various of the external edges (29, 30, 34) of the panel are configured to allow interengagement with the corresponding edges of other like panels so as to resist movement in a direction normal to the plane of the panels and a locking arrangement (25, 47, 53-56) is provided to allow the panels when interengaged to be locked together to resist relative separating movement.
L'invention concerne un panneau de construction (10) que l'on peut utiliser comme dalle de revêtement ou renforcement du sol ou pour construire des parements ou des panneaux, qui présente une forme complexe en plan, ce qui permet au panneau d'être relié à un certain nombre de panneaux analogues pour former une structure continue. Ledit panneau (10) a une section centrale (13) rectangulaire et deux sections d'extrémités (14, 15) s'étendant des bords d'extrémités opposés (23, 24) de la section centrale (13). Chaque section d'extrémité (14, 15) présente une partie trapèze isocèle (16, 17) jouxtant la section centrale (13) et une partie rectangulaire (18, 19) jouxtant la partie trapèze (16, 17). Divers bords externes (29, 30, 34) du panneau sont conçus pour faciliter leur interconnexion avec les bords correspondants des autres panneaux analogues de façon à restreindre le mouvement dans une direction normale par rapport au plan des panneaux et un dispositif de blocage (25, 47, 53-56) permet de bloquer les panneaux lorsqu'ils sont interconnectés de manière à restreindre le mouvement de séparation correspondant.
