The present invention relates to a method, preferable an oral method, for treating urinary disorders, such as unstable or overactive bladder, while minimizing the occurrences of dry mouth, dyspeptia and reduced stream of tears. The methods of the present invention comprise orally administering to a mammal, preferably a human, a pharmaceutically effective dose of an antimuscarinic agent, such as tolterodine, when needed, whereby a symptomatic relief of urgency and/or frequency is achieved.
La présente invention concerne un procédé, de préférence un procédé d'administration par voie orale, destiné à traiter des troubles urinaires tels que la vessie instable ou hyperactive tout en réduisant les risques de bouche sèche, de dyspepsie ou d'écoulement de larmes réduit. Les procédés de la présente invention consistent à administrer par voie orale à un mammifère, de préférence à un humain, une dose pharmaceutiquement efficace d'un agent antimuscarinique tel que la toltérodine, lorsque c'est nécessaire, qui permet un soulagement symptomatique en termes d'urgence et/ou de fréquence.
