The invention relates to a therapeutic and prophylactic ophthalmologic lens for pseudoaphakic eyes and/or eyes undergoing a neurodegenerative process. More specifically, the invention relates to an ophthalmologic lens for pseudoaphakic eyes and/or eyes with macular and retinal degeneration. The inventive lens is characterised in that it is produced by applying a filter with yellow pigmentation to a standard ophthalmologic lens in order to protect the eyes from short wavelengths in the visible spectrum (less than 500 nm). The invention removes the difficulties and risks associated with existing techniques used to provide protection for cataract-operated eyes and to improve protection for eyes undergoing neurodegenerative processes simply with the use of an ophthalmologic lens. The invention combines a standard ophthalmologic lens and a yellow pigmentation filter which absorbs short wavelengths of between 350 and 500 nm, both of which are suitable for use in humans.
L'invention concerne une lentille ophtalmique thérapeutique et prophylactique pour les yeux pseudo-aphaques et/ou dans un processus neurodégénératif. L'invention concerne plus précisément une lentille ophtalmique pour les yeux pseudo-aphaques et/ou présentant une dégénérescence maculaire ou rétinienne, se caractérisant par le fait qu'elle résulte de l'application d'un filtre à pigmentation jaune sur une lentille ophtalmique classique, le filtre protégeant les yeux contre les longueurs l'ondes courtes du spectre visible (inférieures à 500 nm). La présente invention offre une solution aux difficultés et aux risques des techniques existantes car elle permet de protéger les yeux opérés de cataracte et de soigner les yeux dans un processus neurodégénératif, par simple application d'une lentille ophtalmique. L'invention comprend un ensemble composé d'une lentille ophtalmique classique et d'un filtre à pigmentation jaune qui absorbe les longueurs d'ondes courtes comprises entre 350 et 500 nm, ces deux composants pouvant être utilisés chez l'être humain.
