The invention relates to a security module comprising a microprocessor, a program memory containing at least one operational program and a unique module- identification means. The security module is characterised in that the identification means comprises a unique, dummy set of computer codes, which is compatible with the execution thereof by the microprocessor of the module and which is stored in the program memory. The invention also relates to a method of customising a security module using a unique identifier, said module comprising a microprocessor and a program memory containing at least one operational program. The inventive method is characterised in that it comprises steps consisting in generating a unique set of computer codes, known as dummy computer codes, and writing said set of codes into the program memory at specific memory locations.

La présente invention concerne un module de sécurité comprenant un microprocesseur, une mémoire programme contenant au moins un programme opérationnel et un moyen d'identification unique dudit module. Ce module de sécurité est caractérisé en ce que le moyen d'identification est constitué d'un ensemble de codes informatiques unique et factice, compatible avec son exécution par ledit microprocesseur du module et stocké dans la mémoire programme. L'invention concerne également une méthode de personnalisation d'un module de sécurité par un identifiant unique, ce module comprenant un microprocesseur et une mémoire programme contenant au moins un programme opérationnel. La méthode de l'invention est caractérisée en ce qu'elle comprend les étapes de génération d'un ensemble unique de codes informatiques, dénommés codes informatiques factices, et d'écriture; de cet ensemble de codes dans la mémoire programme dans des emplacements mémoires spécifiques.
