The present invention relates to methods for regulating the condition of mammalian keratinous tissue wherein the methods each comprise the step of topically applying to the keratinous tissue of a mammal needing such treatment, a safe and effective amount of a skin care composition comprising: a) a safe and effective amount of a vitamin B6 compound selected from the group consisting of pyridoxine, esters of pyridoxine, amines of pyridoxine, salts of pyridoxine and derivatives thereof, including pyridoxamine, pyridoxal, pyridoxal phosphate, and pyridoxic acid; b) a safe and effective amount of a skin care active selected from the group consisting of peptides, phytosterol, sugar amines, their derivatives, and combinations thereof; and c) a dermatologically acceptable carrier for the pyridoxine and the skin care active.

L'invention concerne des méthodes de régulation de l'état d'un tissu corné mammifère dont chacune des étapes consiste à appliquer topiquement sur le tissu corné d'un mammifère ayant besoin d'un tel traitement une dose sûre et efficace d'une composition de soin renfermant: a) une dose sûre et efficace d'un composé de vitamine B¿6? choisi dans le groupe constitué par pyridoxine, esters de pyridoxine, amines de pyridoxine, sels de pyridoxine et leurs dérivés, y compris la pyridoxamine, le pyridoxal, le phosphate de pyridoxal et l'acide pyridoxique; b) une dose sûre et efficace d'une substance active de soin sélectionnée dans le groupe constitué par peptides, phytostérol, amino-sucres, leurs dérivés ainsi que des associations de ceux-ci; et enfin, c) un support dermatologiquement acceptable pour la pyridoxine et la substance active de soin.
